Baguio Side Trip

Here is a photo of us, my mom, dad and me in our formal gowns and in tuxedo. We attended the lovely wedding of the couple, Omar and Nika Caluag at Baguio Golf and Country Club.

But before that, we had little trips to Mines View Park for shopping. And seeing those beautiful flowers and potted plants, I knew I had to buy some.

The shops were located in a market slash alley way. And I was even tempted to buy even more flowers and potted plants that I was supposed to.
You could just basically get everything here for pasalubong. Our friendly people from Baguio will be glad to lower the prices if you ask them and eventually you’ll both settle in one.

But I settled for 2 Chrysanthemums pots, 2 marigolds, a money tree for my lola and an arranged everlasting arrangement.

And the next morning was even beautiful. At The Manor, Camp John Hay, they have luscious gardens and greens that have
an awesome view.

I also saw beautiful butterflies that were somewhat wet from the water sprinklers. And the trickles of water upon their wings appeared somewhat frozen like.

And here are some other random shots…

And lastly, one of the other nearest places to shop for bargain and eat food was at Mile Hi. Perfect for people who want to find branded stuff and other imported goods for a much lower price. It is located near The Manor @ Camp John Hay.

So far, this is my favorite shot from a bunch I have taken. This butterfly was found by my dad dying on the ground and I didn’t hesitate to take a picture.
It felt like Withering Beauty. *insert dramatic sounds* xD

And it felt so bad seeing several butterflies dying because of their lifespan.

And hooray for the cat who eats dogfood and a friend says “SAY NO TO STEREOTYPES!”

Thanks for reading!
Stay tuned on my future Davao trip! 🙂
