So my cousin and her family, decided to have a little side trip to Singapore. With my mom,a self-reknowned “tourist guide extraordinaire”, decided to go with them bringing me along and my brother.
My always imperfect skin with no makeup (typical vain shot, lol)
The first day went fine. Though the flight was a 3-hour marathon of boredom, and the prickly heat made me go ill-tempered, it was fun.
The highlights of this day was going on Duck Tours, dining in Marché Restaurant in Somerset, going on a little trip to my brothers’ apartment.
Here are some views I took shots of…
View from the taxi
The busy streets of Singapore
Bonsai Garden in Suntec Mall
Marina Bay Sands’ The Shoppes
The view of Marina Bay Sands facing the Louis Vuitton Floating Boutique
The Duck Tours was not so much fun, and actually I fell asleep of boredom, but no doubt, I enjoyed the “splash” thing where in the amphibian vehicle dives unto the water. The tour has a land and water tour, giving the significant sites and the history of the establishments that Singapore is known for.
This tour is recommended for avid photographers because you get to have different angles of the city.
On the outside, it basically looks like an ordinary resto with a bakery outside.
But no. There’s actually an underground extention of the place wherein upon entrance, you are given a card that you can use to “pay” while ordering and afterwards, pay the bill at the exit.
Its a Market Restaurant, encapsularing their promise that was written on their take away bags, “Fresh. Healthy. Fast.”
With the ambiance and the approach of the restaurant, I was in awe. It was a cozy and cute, norwegian slash slike resto.
A pic of my brother and my pamangkin eating flavors of Créme Brûlèe amd Vanilla.
While feasting on pan fried prawns, fried calamari, margherita pizza, swiss roti (?), chicken which I forgot its name and sweet concotion of drinks, we had a very nice dinner indeed! I will surely come back and bring my other relatives and friends (if ever) along.
Such a busy day we had. Very tiring but fun.
Hopefully will get my cellphone fully chargedo so I can take bloggable pictures again.
Thanks for reading.
How about you?
Do you have other restaurant or places in mind that we tourists should visit in Singapore?
I obviously need more to add up to my list, lol.
