Tea Time @ TWG Resorts World Manila

I have been seeing this lovely restaurant on the net, and even asked my mom and my dad to bring me home some of their delicious macaroons! Because of the busy schedule, it was only now that I actually dinned in TWG.
TWG by the way, is a luxury tea brand that originated from Singapore since 1837. It has its flagship stores in Singapore, and has opened its first branch in Greenbelt, and just recently, in Resorts World Manila. Its pretty nice to go to this branch since its the Largest store of TWG in the world (weird, given it originated in Singapore). Here’s the twist with their menu, almost everything is infused with tea which makes it taste new! (but not really new since it still has that traditional taste)
The ambiance was very elegant, with gorgeous tea sets, a wide array of teas in tins displayed on the most of the restaurants wall and the beautiful accents and lighting of the
room were superb.

Since we were still waiting for my dad (who went on a little trip to the casino) and my brother who supposedly was to play, we ordered for a light drink which was a Vanilla Bourbon red tea, served cold and Crème Brûlée, while my mom got the same drink, and a moroccan mint, napoleon (bestseller flavor) and a rose flavored macaroons.

After the long wait of the boys, I ordered a Wagyu Burger, and remember… Wagyu burgers are always the bomb! ( and as you see in the picture, its obvious that dad couldn’t wait to eat them)

And my brother, he got a beef lasagna served with a hot piece of bread, lemon bush tea, and mango crunch (i’m not really sure about the name) served with a heavenly scoop of ice cream. ( I wasn’t able to take a picture though)
For my take home, I got a small jar of loose tea, which is Lemon Bush tea. I simply love the lemon and citrus notes in this one! My new favorite!

Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience in TWG. Perfect for a snack, tea time with friends or a hearty meal! I will surely go back to try more tea flavors. I hope you visit them and maybe have them one as your favorites as well.
Happy Easter Sunday everyone!
